Antifaschistische Einheitsfront oder Unregierbarkeit? Geschichten aus dem Widerstand gegen Trumps erste Amtszeit und Perspektiven für den Widerstand gegen die Autoritarisierung hier.
Die Erfolge der Rechten wie Trump und der AfD scheinen unaufhaltsam. Wenn überhaupt ist doch unsere einzige Chance den Status Quo zu erhalten?! Die Demokratie zu verteidigen…
Ist das wirklich so?
Während Trumps erster Amtszeit gab es massiven Widerstand – nicht nur gegen ihn, sondern gegen zahlreiche Formen von Herrschaft und Unterdrückung.
Dieser Widerstand ließ sich nicht von den Gesetzen des Staates und Spielregeln der Demokratie einengen.
In einer gemeinsamen Veranstaltung mit/an mehreren selbstorganisierten Orten (mit Onlineübertragung von einem zum anderen Orten) wollen wir über den Widerstand sprechen und was wir daraus lernen können. Außerdem werden wir darüber sprechen, wie wir die Menschen in den von den USA beanspruchten Gebiet in ihren Kämpfen unterstützen können. Am Ende stellen wir dann noch vor wie unser geplantes anarchistisches Zentrum Teil einer Strategie gegen die Rechte und auch autoritäre Linke sein soll.
Die Veranstaltung findet am Freitag, den 28.03.2025 von 16.00 – 22.00 Uhr statt. Ort in Bochum ist das Theater der Gezeiten (Schmechtingstraße 38). Sie wird mit ca. 5-6 Stunden relativ lang sein, aber es kann auch nur an einzelnen Teilen teilgenommen werden. Ob und welchen andere Übertragungsorte es gibt geben wir kurz vor der Veranstaltung bekannt.
Teil 1: Übersicht über den Widerstand unter Trump (16.30 – 17.30 Uhr)
Im ersten Teil wird eine Person von uns eine kurze Übersicht über den Widerstand während der Amtszeit Trumps geben. Dabei werden Videos abgespielt und ein paar Fakten zu den jeweiligen Ereignissen erzählt. Und wir rechnen einigen der Zahlen auf Deutschland um, damit das Ausmaß bewusst wird.
Teil 2: Online-Gespräch mit einem*einer Beteiligten des Widerstandes (18.00-20.00 Uhr)
Für den zweiten Teilen konnten wir ein*e Beteiligte*n des CrimethInc Kollektives einladen, per Video Call mit uns ins Gespräch zu kommen.
CrimethInc ist ein sehr bekanntes und bereits über 25 Jahre aktives anarchistisches Kollektiv. CrimethInc ist global aktiv, hat aber in seinen Erfahrungen einen Schwerpunkt auf Kämpfe im englischsprachigen Raum und hier vor allem das von den USA beanspruchte Gebiet.
Uns wird wird von den Erfahrungen aus dem Widerstand unter Trump erzählt werden.
Nach einem Input gibt es die Möglichkeit mensch Fragen zu stellen. Wenn es ausreichend Zeit bleibt können wir auch noch gemeinsam diskutieren.
Teil 3: Unsere Perspektiven als Fanny‘s and Fanya‘s + offene Diskussion. (20.00-22.00 Uhr)
Wir schließen mit einem Input zu unserer Perspektive als Initiative für ein anarchistisches Zentrum in Bochum ab. Warum sind wir nicht von “Antifaschistischer Einheit” überzeugt, weshalb ist aufzuhören regierbar zu sein der richtige Weg? Wie soll unser Zentrum Rechten und anderen autoritären Bewegungen in Bochum den Wind aus den Segeln nehmen? Wie ist das mit unseren allgemein Zielen der Beendigung aller Herrschaftsverhältnisse, als auch der Herrschaft des (demokratischen) Staates, Kapitalismus, Kolonialismus, Patriarchat und Ableismus, verbunden? Was bedeutet dies für die konkrete Gestaltung unseres zukünftigen Ladens? Danach wollen wir mit euch in die offene Diskussion gehen.
Neben unserer lokalen Perspektive werden aus der Antwort auf diese Fragen auch Perspektiven für den ganzen von Deutschland beanspruchten Gebiet ableiten.
Pausen, Essen Bücher, Broschüren
Es gibt es zwischen jeden Teil eine längere Pause und es gibt a veganes/pflanzliches Essen. Außerdem haben wir einen Bücher- und Broschürentisch dabei – u. a. mit zahlreichen Texten von CrimethInc, Essen, Bücher und Broschüren sind kostenlos. Wer Geld hat, kann für neues Essen und neue Bücher spenden – natürlich auch wer kein Essen oder Bücher nimmt.
Zugänglichkeit, Sprache und Schutz.
Der Videocall mit Crimethinc findet auf Englisch statt, der Rest der Veranstaltung auf je nach allgemein Bedürfnis auf Deutsch oder Englisch: Falls ihr entweder eine Deutsche oder Englische Übersetzung braucht, sagt Bescheid, das richten wir ein.
Das Veranstaltungsort ist leider nicht komplett rollstuhltauglich . Für unseren eigenen Laden hat dies eine hohe Priorität.
Mitglieder rechter, faschistischer oder anderer autoritärer Organisationen wie z. B. dem Bündnis Sarah Wagenknecht werden werden wir nicht hineinlassen. Tragen von National- oder Parteisymbolen führt ebenfalls zum Rausschmiss.

Fanny‘s and Fanya‘s ist eine Initiative die als Ziel hat, ein anarchistisches Zentrum in Bochum zu gründen. Als Teil unseres Anarchismus sind uns eine anti-koloniale Perspektive (einschließlich der Abschaffung möglichst großer Teil der industrialisierten Gesellschaft) wichtig.

Anarchist Afternoon: Trump und AfD unstoppable?

The successes of the right like Trump and the AfD seem unstoppable. If anything, our only chance is to maintain the status quo?! To defend democracy…
Is that really so?
During Trump’s first term there was massive resistance – not just against him, but against numerous forms of domination and oppression. This resistance was not constrained by the laws of the state and the rules of democracy.
In shared online event with several self organized places (with video transmission from on place to the other place) we want to talk about the resistance and what we can learn from it.
We will also talk about how we can support the people in the areas claimed by the USA in their struggles. At the end we will present how our planned anarchist center is part of a strategy against the right and the authoritarian left. Our event will take place on Friday, 28th of March 2025 from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Location will be the Theater der Gezeiten (Theater of Tides) in Bochum (Schmechtingstraße 38). With 5-6 hour the event will be quite long. Only participating in some parts is possible.
Part 1 (4:30 PM – 5:30 PM): Overview of the resistance under Trump
In the first part, one of us will give a brief overview of the resistance during Trump’s first term. Videos will be played and a few facts about the respective events will be told. And we will convert some of the numbers to Germany so that the extent of the event becomes clear.
Part 2 (6:00 PM– 8:00 PM): Online conversation with a participant in the resistance
For the second part, we were able to invite a participant in the CrimethInc collective to talk to us via video call. CrimethInc is a very well-known anarchist collective that has been active for over 20 years. CrimethInc is active globally, but its experience focuses on struggles in English-speaking countries, especially the area claimed by the USA. We will be told about the experiences of the resistance under Trump. After an input, there will be the opportunity to ask questions.
If there is enough time left, we can also discuss things together.
Part 3 (8 PM – 10 PM): Our perspectives as Fanny’s and Fanya’s + open discussion.
We will conclude with an input on our perspective as an initiative for an anarchist center in Bochum. Why are we not convinced of “anti-fascist unity”, why is stopping to be governable the right way? How can our center take the wind out of the sails of right-wing and other authoritarian movements in Bochum? How is this connected to our general goals of ending all forms of domination, as well as the rule of the (democratic) state, capitalism, colonialism, patriarchy and ableism? What does this mean for the concrete design of our future space?
After that, we want to enter into an open discussion with you.
Breaks, food, books, zines
There is a longer break between each part and there is vegan/plant-based food. We also bring a table with books and zines – including numerous texts from CrimethInc.
Food, books and zines are free. Anyone who has money can donate for new food and books – of course this also includes those who don’t take food or books.
Accessibility, language and protection.
Unfortunately, the event place is not barrier-free. For our own space it is a high priority to set this up differently).
The video call will take place in English, the rest of the event in German or English depending on the general needs of the audience. If you need either a German or English translation, let us know and we will arrange that.
We will not let members of right-wing, fascist or other authoritarian organizations such as the Sarah Wagenknecht Alliance in. Wearing national or party symbols will also result in expulsion.

Fanny’s and Fanya’s is an initiative that aims to establish an anarchist center in Bochum. As part of our anarchism, an anti-colonial perspective (including the abolition of as much of industrialized society as possible) is important to us.
We also see ourselves as queer (but non-queer people can also join us) and a large part of the group is trans and not heterosexual.
